Three situations we encounter every week.

Why have a corporate identity designed?

  • Every communication looks slightly different

Your website, social media, and quotes are created by three different people, and it shows. Visitors don’t recognize the brand, so every piece of content starts from scratch. We define color, typography, and imagery in a single set that works consistently across every channel.

  • Your brand gets lost among the rest

Design is the first thing that sets you apart, even before anyone reads a word. If your brand identity looks like three others, your media budget works for the category instead of for you. We translate your positioning into a design that’s uniquely yours.

  • Every new piece of content requires a new design cycle

Without established building blocks, your team has to start from scratch with every banner, brochure, or landing page. That takes time and still results in inconsistencies. We provide components, templates, and a brand guide so your marketers can create consistent communications on their own.

Creating a brand identity that evolves with you

Design is where your brand strategy first comes to life. What your positioning promises must be reflected in color, typography, and imagery. If it isn’t, no one will be able to tell the difference between you and the competitor next to you.

With us, image production isn’t a waiting game. Using generative image tools, we present visual concepts within days and create variations within a defined style, without scheduling a separate photo shoot for every piece of content. The final choice remains a human decision, but the production work doesn’t.

You’ll work with Steven, Head of Seduction at Redkiwi. You’ll receive the brand identity as a functional set of components, templates, and a brand guide, so your team can continue working with it without us. We’ll determine what gets designed together, following a set design cycle.

What does creating a corporate identity entail?

We start with your positioning and the brands you’re up against on the shelf or in search results. From there, we develop two or three visual directions, realized on actual media rather than just a mood board: a homepage, an ad, or packaging. We develop the chosen direction into a logo, color palette, typography, iconography, photography, and illustration style, along with the guidelines that determine when to use what.

From Brand Concept to Actionable Brand Identity

The implementation phase is where most brand identities fall short. That’s why our process doesn’t end with a presentation but with usable files: components for your website, templates for social media and print, and a brand guide that’s understandable even to non-designers. We roll out the style across the platforms you’re already using and then schedule a regular review, so deviations don’t quietly become the norm. You decide which communications get updated first.

Three services that guide the design.

What Your Brand Identity Is Built On

A brand identity never stands alone. Positioning determines what the design should convey, content determines how often people see it, and interface design determines whether it holds up digitally. We bring all three together in the same team.

From positioning to rollout in five steps.

Here’s how to have a corporate identity created

  • 1. Defining your brand and market

We compare your positioning, your target audience, and the visual landscape in which you compete. This determines what the design should achieve and what you should avoid resembling.

  • 2. Visual Directions

You’ll receive two or three fully developed design directions, each applied to real media. This way, you choose based on what it will be, not on what it could be.

  • 3. Developing the Brand Identity

The chosen direction is translated into a logo, color palette, typography, iconography, and visual style—all structured as components that your team can reuse.

  • 4. Implementing the style across channels

We’ll implement the style on your website, social media, print materials, and packaging, and provide the templates. That way, you’ll have a working example for each channel from day one.

  • 5. Monitoring and Adjusting

On a regular basis, we review the communications for any deviations and update the brand guidelines as needed based on real-world usage. You’ll see what’s changing and why.

Three projects where form carries the story.

How much does it cost to have a brand identity created?

That depends on the scope of your brand, the number of media on which the style needs to be applied, and whether it includes a name or logo. Refining an existing brand identity is a different process than building a brand from scratch.

What you’ll always get: a dedicated point of contact, visual mockups on real media before you make a decision, components and templates your team can use themselves, and a brand guide that’s easy to understand even for non-designers.

Want to know what your brand needs? Schedule a consultation, and we’ll define the scope together.

Frequently Asked Questions About Creating a Corporate Identity

01/ How much does it cost to have a corporate identity designed?

That depends on the scope of your brand, the number of materials the style needs to be applied to, and whether it includes a name or logo. Refining an existing brand identity is a different process than building a brand from scratch. During our initial consultation, we’ll define the scope together so you know what to expect before anything is designed.

02/ How long does it take to have a brand identity created?

Expect it to take a few weeks, most of which will be spent on implementation rather than design. The visual guidelines are established relatively quickly; components, templates, and the brand guide take the most time. You’ll receive a schedule in advance outlining when it’s your turn to act.

03/ What is the difference between a logo and a corporate identity?

A logo is just one part of the whole. A corporate identity is the complete package: color, typography, iconography, photography, and the guidelines that determine when to use what. If you only have a logo designed, you’ll still be stuck when it comes time to create your first ad. We provide the complete set of tools you need to create any communication piece.

04/ Will I receive the source files for my brand identity?

Yes. You’ll receive the source files, the components, and the brand guide, so your team or another agency can continue working with them without us. A brand identity that you can only use through us isn’t a brand identity—it’s a dependency.

05/ Can I have my existing brand identity refined?

That’s often the better approach. You don’t just overhaul a brand that has built up recognition. We start by analyzing your brand communications and show you which elements will stay, which will be adjusted, and which will be removed. We back up our recommendations, and you decide how far to take it.

06/ Do you use AI to create images?

We do for production work. We use generative methods to create image variations within a defined style, which saves us from having to do a separate shoot for each piece of content. The direction, selection, and brand guidelines remain the work of humans. For each project, we document which images were created generatively, so you can account for that yourself.
