Three situations we encounter every week.

Why a new website?

  • You can’t make any changes yourself

Every change requires a support ticket and a week-long wait. Then your site is no longer a tool but an obstacle, and you’ll first notice this in the content that’s no longer being updated.

  • The site is too slow on mobile

On mobile, it takes too long to load, and that causes you to lose visitors before the page even appears on the screen. Speed isn’t a technical luxury—it’s the first step in your funnel.

  • Nothing is integrated with your systems

Your CRM, your inventory, and your email tool aren’t integrated with your site, so someone has to manually enter the data. That’s work that will disappear as soon as the integrations are in place.

Building a website that grows with you

A website isn’t a one-time deliverable but a tool that needs to last for years. So the question isn’t just what it looks like when it goes live, but whether your team can use it to move forward as the organization changes.

That’s why we choose the platform based on your situation, not our personal preference. Craft CMS if content teams want to build it themselves; Shopify or Magento with Hyvä if there’s an online store involved; Storyblok or headless if multiple channels need the same content. Where technology can take over, we let it: behavioral data indicates which pages need attention, and AI helps our developers write and review code faster. The responsibility for quality and security remains with us.

You’ll work with Paul, Head of Engineering. He defines your site’s technical capabilities, involves you in the development process rather than waiting until after delivery, and tracks speed and availability in a dashboard you can access yourself.

What does having a website built entail?

Four layers. The foundation: platform selection, hosting, and requirements for speed, accessibility, and security, all defined before a single line of code is written. The design: structure, navigation, and interface, built as components so that creating a new page doesn’t require a whole new design process. Development: the CMS configured so your team can use it on their own, plus integrations with your CRM, inventory system, or email tool. And the handoff: documentation, a dashboard, and people who know what to do if something goes wrong.

From Website to Platform

A site that only knows its own pages will break down as soon as a second brand, a second language, or a portal is added. That’s why we build from the ground up with that growth in mind: capture content once and use it in multiple places, and an architecture where a new channel is an extension, not a complete overhaul. If you want a website built that will still be relevant in three years, that’s the choice you make now. You’ll receive the code, the documentation, and access, so you won’t be tied to us to move forward.

Three services that make a website perform.

What a Website Rests On

A website never stands alone. The design determines whether visitors achieve their goals, the accessibility and security requirements determine who can use it, and support determines whether it will still be just as fast two years from now. We handle all three within the same team.

From requirements to ongoing development in five steps.

Here’s how we build a website

  • 1. Requirements and platform selection

We identify your goals, target audience, and systems, and define the technical requirements: speed, accessibility, management, and integrations. This informs our choice of platform.

  • 2. Design and Components

We build the structure, navigation, and interface as components, tested against the path your visitor must take.

  • 3. Development and Integrations

Our engineers build the site and configure the CMS so your team can use it on its own. Integrations with your existing systems are included.

  • 4. Testing and Launch

Before going live, we test the technology, speed, accessibility, and security. You’ll see the results, not just the conclusion that everything is fine.

  • 5. Measurement and ongoing development

After delivery, we continue to measure and refine the site. Speed, availability, and conversion rates are all presented in a single dashboard that you can access yourself.

Three organizations with very different requirements for their platforms.

How much does it cost to have a website built?

That depends on the platform, the number of templates, the integrations with your systems, and whether it needs to support multiple languages or brands. A ten-page branding site is a different project than a platform with a customer portal built in.

What you always get: a dedicated point of contact, technical requirements defined upfront, a CMS your team can use independently, and full control over the code and documentation.
