Inquiry

Boland sells large volumes to business customers with their own prices, payment terms, and shipping arrangements. Many orders were still placed by phone and email. How can you make that process faster and simpler online?

Solution

We built a Magento B2B web store with customer-specific pricing, Excel order imports, and a real-time ERP integration for up-to-date inventory and pricing. This allows customers to place orders independently and more quickly, while Boland reduces manual work and operates with up-to-date data.

A B2B online store that aligns with the procurement process

Business customers order differently than consumers. Large quantities, personalized price agreements, and specific payment and shipping terms are part of the daily process.

That’s why we designed the Boland B2B online store with these needs in mind. Each customer sees their own prices and terms and can more easily manage recurring orders.

Not a consumer web store with a business login, but a platform built for B2B commerce.

Before & After

Process large orders faster

Adding hundreds of products one by one takes time. That’s why customers can import an existing order directly into their shopping cart via Excel or CSV. They can also use multiple wish lists for products they order frequently.

This streamlines recurring tasks and makes online shopping more appealing than ordering by phone or email.

Magento integrated with real-time ERP data

Inventory and customer-specific prices must always be accurate. That’s why we integrated Magento with Kerridge, formerly Unit4. The online store retrieves real-time inventory and pricing information from the ERP system.

As a result, customers only see the prices that apply to their agreements, and Boland doesn’t have to maintain the same information in multiple places.

Less manual work, more control

The ERP integration connects the online store directly to day-to-day operations. Inventory doesn’t need to be updated separately, prices remain centrally managed, and customers can handle more on their own. This simplifies the ordering process for the customer and reduces manual work at Boland.

Sustainable collaboration

Boland and Redkiwi are continuously developing the platform based on new opportunities in e-commerce, UX, and automation. Always with the same question in mind: Which step can we demonstrably make easier for the customer or the organization?

This ensures the B2B web store continues to align with how Boland and its customers actually work.
