Lobbying Policy

At Redkiwi, we use our expertise and influence to make a positive impact on society and the environment. This policy ensures that our political engagement is always conducted with integrity, transparency, and in line with our B Corp values.

1. Purpose and Responsibility

Redkiwi lobbies exclusively to contribute to a positive impact on society and the environment, with a specific focus on the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We never lobby against regulations intended to protect people or the environment.

2. Evidence-Based Approach

Our positions and lobbying activities are always based on reliable and scientific data. This means we use independent market research, peer-reviewed scientific publications, and replicable data insights to support our claims.

3. Political Contributions and Integrity

  • Contributions: redkiwi does not make financial contributions or in-kind contributions to political parties, politicians, or related institutions.
  • Anti-Corruption: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding corruption and bribery. Any form of improper influence is strictly prohibited.

4. Intermediary Organizations (including DDA)

We are a member of the Dutch Digital Agencies (DDA) to jointly advocate for digital inclusivity.

  • Consistency: We monitor whether the positions of the DDA (or other partners) align with our policy.
  • Conflict: If an organization with which we are affiliated takes a position that conflicts with our values or this policy, we will publicly clarify our position.
  • Red Lines: If a partner organization systematically lobbies against the public interest or sustainability goals, we will terminate our membership.

5. Governance and Oversight

  • Responsibility: Redkiwi’s executive board bears ultimate responsibility for the implementation and enforcement of this policy.
  • Approval: This policy has been formally approved by Redkiwi’s highest governing body and is reviewed annually.
  • Risk Management: We identify and monitor risks of non-compliance through our internal audit cycle. Each year, we evaluate whether our lobbying activities remain aligned with our mission.
  • Complaints: If there are any complaints regarding the content and/or implementation of our policy, they may be reported through the complaints procedure.
