ProductHero

From allocating budgets to managing budgets.

Three situations we encounter every day.

Why choose a ProductHero partner?

  • Your budget is going toward products that don’t generate any revenue

In a standard Shopping campaign, your entire product range receives budget, including items with low margins or low inventory. By focusing on what a product generates rather than what it costs, you shift your budget to where it yields the best return.

  • Your ad image doesn’t stand out from the rest

Google displays your image next to your competitor’s, and that image determines whether someone clicks. Anyone who leaves their product photos as they came from the photo studio is missing out on conversions without even realizing it.

  • You have too many products to manage individually

With thousands of items, you can’t determine what to offer on a per-product basis. Automation based on margin, inventory, and performance does that for you—leaving you with time for the decisions that really matter.

ProductHero as the engine behind your Shopping campaigns

For many online stores, Google Shopping is the largest advertising channel—and at the same time, the channel where the budget is spent with the least precision. Every product gets attention, regardless of its performance.

ProductHero is the engine that sets that right. You manage at the product level using your own metrics: margin, inventory, and performance determine where the budget goes. And with image optimization, you’ll stand out from the rest.

You set the commercial rules. We make sure the data supports them and that you can see what each product delivers.

What We Do with ProductHero

We start with your per-product metrics: what’s the margin, how quickly does it sell, and what return does it generate from ads? Those three factors together determine what a click is worth, and that varies greatly by product.

Next, we set up the automation so that a product with a thin margin or low inventory receives a smaller budget, while your top-selling items get more. This happens automatically—manually managing thousands of items just isn’t feasible.

Finally, the image. We test different versions of your product photos against each other, because on Shopping, that image is the first—and often the only—thing a user looks at.

Three things you’ll notice during our collaboration.

Why choose Redkiwi as your ProductHero partner?

  • You’ll see for yourself what each product brings in

You’ll see the costs and returns for each product. Every month, we’ll review this together, and you’ll decide which guidelines to follow. You remain in charge of the business strategy; we’ll ensure the data supports it.

  • Independent advice

With a small product lineup or a limited Shopping budget, the profit is too small to justify an additional layer of management. In that case, we manage it directly within Google. That’s what ownership means to us.

  • Product data and campaigns under one roof

We run your campaigns and manage your product data, so any adjustments to margins or inventory align with what’s in your system. You’ll work with a dedicated specialist who knows your product lineup.

Frequently Asked Questions About Feed Management

01/ Can I link my ads to the feed?
Yes. The feed provides the product data, and the rules determine which products you advertise and at what bid. An item that sells out or falls below your margin is automatically removed from the campaign instead of continuing to drain your budget.
02/ What is feed management?
Converting your product data into the format required by each sales channel. Google Shopping requires different fields than Bol or Amazon, and an error in a single field means a product will be rejected. Feed management handles that conversion from a single source.
03/ Why are my products being rejected by a sales channel?
This is usually due to a field that doesn’t meet the channel’s requirements: a missing EAN, a category that doesn’t exist, or a price that differs from your website. In the feed tool, you can see why each product was rejected and correct the issue at the source.
04/ When do I need a feed tool?
As soon as you sell on more than one channel or frequently update your product selection. If you sell a small, stable product selection exclusively through your own online store, a feed tool is unnecessary. That’s exactly what we’ll tell you.
