Three situations we encounter every day.

Why choose a Notificare partner?

  • You’re asking for permission at the wrong time

People who install an app and are immediately asked for permission to receive notifications often say no. After that, that door is closed. Asking when it’s actually useful to the user yields much better results.

  • You’re sending the same message to everyone

Everyone receives the same notification, regardless of what they bought or viewed. With email, this leads to unsubscribes; with push notifications, it leads to notifications being turned off. And once notifications are turned off, you rarely get them back.

  • Your customer calls about things they’d like to see themselves

An order that’s on its way, a reservation that’s about to start, a delivery that’s been rescheduled: these are the messages people are really waiting for. Automating them saves your customer service team work and reduces your customers’ uncertainty.

Notifications as the engine behind your messages

A notification on someone’s screen is the most direct channel you have. That’s exactly why it’s also the most unforgiving: send too many, and the recipient will block you—for good.

Notificare is the engine behind it all. Push notifications, in-app messages, and location-based alerts all come from the same platform, powered by what you know about your customers. This way, you send fewer messages that hit the mark more often.

You decide what gets sent and when. We ensure that the integration with your customer data is accurate and that you can see the results of each notification.

What We Do with Notificare

We start at the moment consent is given. When do you ask for it, with what explanation, and following what action? That single screen determines how large your reach will be in the coming year.

Then we link it to your customer data, so that a notification aligns with what someone bought, viewed, or left in their shopping cart. Without that link, you’re sending everyone the same thing—and that’s exactly why people turn off notifications.

Finally, we determine the frequency. We prefer to send fewer notifications than allowed, because with this channel, sending too many cannot be undone. Every month, we review what each notification achieved and how many people unsubscribed.

Three things you’ll notice in the partnership.

Why choose Redkiwi as your Notificare partner?

  • You can see for yourself what each notification costs and delivers

For each message, you’ll see the results and how many people opt out of notifications. Every month, we’ll review this together, and you set the pace. You remain in control of the business strategy; we’ll ensure the data supports it.

  • Independent advice

If you don’t have an app or a recurring touchpoint, push notifications won’t be very effective, and email is a better option. We’d rather recommend one less channel than a channel that drives your audience away.

  • Push alongside your other channels

We also build your app or online store and manage your email channel, so we can see how push notifications fit in with the rest. You’ll work with a dedicated specialist who understands your customer journey.

Frequently Asked Questions About Push Notifications

01/ What is the difference between push notifications and email?
A push notification arrives on the device and is read or dismissed within minutes. Email remains in the inbox until someone has time to check it. So push notifications are best for short, time-sensitive messages, and email is best for anything that can wait.
02/ When should I ask for permission to send notifications?
Don’t ask right when the app is first opened. Ask for permission when it’s actually useful to the user, such as when tracking an order. If you ask right away, you’re more likely to get a “no,” and then that door is closed.
03/ What happens if I send too many push notifications?
They’ll turn off notifications, and you can’t undo that. Push notifications are the only channel where sending too often is permanent: once turned off, you’ll rarely get that permission back. That’s why we send fewer than we’re allowed to.
04/ Can I link notifications to my customer data?
Yes, and that’s where it really makes a difference. A notification about an order or a special offer that matches what someone has purchased before comes from the same customer data as your email. Without that link, you’ll send everyone the same thing, and they’ll just turn it off.
