Challenge

HTM is the transportation company of the Hague region - serving 325,000 visitors daily. Their request to us? A completely new, intuitive platform with a journey planner, real-time line information, service disruption notifications, and information about tickets.

In addition, their corporate story, job vacancies, CSR policy, and financial figures and results needed to be consolidated in one place.

There was no space for these on the previous website, and everything was managed through a separate corporate site. It was cumbersome. It should all be in one place! The timeline for this project? 5 months.

Excellent communication during the development process is a requirement. As the product owner and HTM's point of contact, Kim worked at the Redkiwi office. The lines couldn't be shorter than this. Together, we swiftly went through the checklist.

Technology for all of us

The new website is built on the TYPO3 CMS. While it may be more complex than the previous website, HTM employees quickly became familiar with it through a few small lessons. One of our team members spent a week at the headquarters one month before the launch to populate the content. Prior to going live, we created a prototype using a clickable design in Figma to test the site and avoid any obstacles for traveler groups. As the icing on the cake, we introduced digital marketing, providing clear analytics and a clear strategy for leveraging social media platforms at the right times.

The result - ég mooi

Travelers? Now traveling with ease. The other stakeholders? The job vacancy page is included, the corporate page is neatly placed in the menu, there is a page where residents can learn more about upcoming works, and an public transport dashboard is online where monthly transport figures are made available. HTM is happy, we are happy.

With their experience in travel websites, Redkiwi has helped us make informed decisions that actually work. Communication was easy and, above all, incredibly educational.
