Ilona, a.k.a. pixel perfectionist with a touch of sea breeze.

Ilona hails from Hippolytushoef, located on the former (and secret) Wadden Island of Wieringen. After five years living and working in Curaçao — where she deepened her love for wind and kitesurfing — she’s been part of the Redkiwi team for quite a few years now, bringing precision and calm to everything she does.

As a front-end developer, she’s detail-obsessed. She builds with precision and loves to think along with the client, always looking for smart, user-friendly solutions. She enjoys diving into new technologies and never sees challenges as problems — more like fun puzzles to solve.

Though she may come across as quiet at first, she’s always up for a good time. A team drink or outing? She’s in. And when the wind picks up? You’ll likely find her out on the water, full of adrenaline and fearless. A daredevil at heart — even beyond the code.
