Searching for long-term care can be quite a challenge: which care office is in my region, which health insurers are affiliated, and so on. Many platforms, a lot of steps to go through, and mainly, many questions. It had to be easier. That's why we, in collaboration with ZorgMatch, undertook a project for the Zorgverzekeraars Nederland (Dutch Health Insurance Companies).

The new platform - offered on zorgkantoor.nl - has been developed to explain in a clear manner the steps that need to be taken when there is a need for long-term care. The LPLZ (Long-Term Care Central Access) takes the client along on the journey to centralize the world of long-term care. Searching for a care office, then checking which health insurers are connected to it, and using many different platforms are now a thing of the past.
User-friendliness is a top priority
Using 6 clear steps, the visitor can find a care office within their region. The customer journey is central, making relevance and user-friendliness the two main pillars. The chosen care office is saved, and the system automatically takes this into account on the information pages that visitors consult. This makes the search for information easier and guides the visitor directly to the right care office. Additionally, through the inclusive design, the needs of all target groups within long-term care are accommodated.
