Challenge

Our collaboration with MAAS began in 2013. Over the past 10 years, we've worked closely on the strategic repositioning of MAAS. Transitioning from a company that sold coffee machines to a sustainable business providing the finest and most sustainable coffee and tea to the entire working population of the Netherlands. By now, MAAS has become the market leader and a House of Brands, featuring exquisite coffee and tea brands such as BLENDSTAR Single Origin, HARPER’S Single Origin, BLENDSTAR Premium, the Idealist, and Oat of this World.

The digital competition is fierce. To take the next steps in improving MAAS's digital maturity, we have been working on a strong SEO foundation since the beginning of 2023. This will enhance visibility on Google and generate more leads. Our focus is on three pillars: technology, content, and authority. We have initiated this process by taking over the website.

MAAS is a leader in sustainability. Within the MAAS IMPACT sustainability policy, it follows three themes: IMPACT@ORIGIN, IMPACT@SOCIAL, and IMPACT@FOOTPRINT. Making an impact on the coffee and tea value chain with IMPACT@ORIGIN. The essence of this sustainability program lies in permanently relocating components of the value chain from Western Europe to the countries of origin. MAAS generates economic value there by investing locally and ensuring a significant improvement in the quality of life for local communities.

IMPACT for people with a distance to the labor market. MAAS goes beyond the mandatory inquiry for social return and has set up special programs, particularly for young people with a distance to the labor market. One of them is the exclusive collaboration with the company Heilige Boontjes, which helps young people with a troubled past reintegrate into society. So, drinking a cup of coffee automatically contributes to more and better opportunities for young people with a distance to the labor market.

IMPACT by minimizing the ecological footprint. MAAS does this concerning its machines, waste, water, and transportation. It continuously works to create sustainable IMPACT in terms of circularity and strives to put all products into a continuous cycle.

For MAAS, we are the full-service agency and assist them in growing through all our expertise, including branding and packaging of their coffee brands, web development, and providing internal workshops on strategy and digital marketing.
