Esbjaerg has international growth ambitions for its vodka brand. This required a full repositioning, including a distinctive visual language, a bold new campaign, and an engaging website. However, the existing image library lacked energy and a strong, consistent look. It was time for a refresh — and that’s exactly where AI came in.

By leveraging advanced AI tools, we were able to quickly and efficiently create striking visuals while shaping an entirely new visual identity that aligns perfectly with Esbjaerg’s brand values. AI became a crucial part of the creative process, giving the brand exactly what it needed to stand out on the international stage.

With a limited budget and a broad target audience, we had to find a creative way to meet the objectives. Traditional photo shoots are costly and time-consuming. A fresh, innovative approach gave Esbjaerg the visual punch it was looking for. The result? A distinctive campaign that makes an impact, without compromising on quality.

AI-Driven Creation

To bring Esbjaerg’s mission to life, we used a powerful combination of Midjourney and ChatGPT: two AI-driven tools that helped us generate unique visuals.

The client’s request was clear: stand out from other vodka brands. Less association with party culture, but instead more with cold, purity, and character. By experimenting with a wide range of prompts and scenes, we developed fresh and unexpected imagery that perfectly fits the Esbjaerg identity.

What’s special about working with AI? It evolves rapidly. Within a few months, we saw a clear improvement in output quality. This approach delivered distinctive visuals quickly and cost-effectively, without ever needing to set foot in the snow ourselves!

From Strategy to Motion

After working with Midjourney and ChatGPT, we wanted more than static visuals. With Runway, we brought our creations to life. This AI tool transformed static visuals into dynamic, moving images, breathing life into the campaign.

Runway is a true playground for creativity. It lets you quickly switch between ideas, tweak what doesn’t work, and fine-tune to perfection. The result? Surprising imagery with no limits. Visually, anything is possible with Runway. After plenty of mixing and matching, Esbjaerg’s icy brand identity burst from the screen. We used Photoshop for the finishing touches, perfecting every detail. The result: a bold, dynamic, and literally cool story.

Online experience

In addition to the new visual identity, we revamped the website. It’s now the central hub of Esbjaerg’s digital presence, offering much more than just a digital business card. It’s a versatile platform that delivers a full brand experience, boosting awareness and attracting new customers.

Visitors can discover products, enter giveaways, and sign up for the newsletter. All communications converge here. No matter how visitors arrive, the site gives them the full Esbjaerg experience. From product details to the latest campaigns, everything is clearly organized and easy to find.

Our goal? To create a vibrant platform that strengthens Esbjaerg’s digital presence and promotes engagement across all channels.

From Experiment to Expertise

What started as new territory for us, using AI in creative work has now become second nature. We know the strengths, the possibilities, and the pitfalls. Today, AI is a full-fledged area of expertise at Redkiwi.

Limited resources and big challenges initially pushed us to think outside the box. That journey led us to AI, and we’ve been evolving ever since.
