ISO 27001 is an ISO standard regarding your information security policy. It describes how information security is handled in a process-oriented manner to ensure the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information within the organization. Achieving an ISO certification had two significant reasons for us. On the one hand, there is an increasing demand from the market. More and more organizations require certification from their digital partners. On the other hand, it improves internal business processes and increases security awareness within the organization.
Through numerous audits and analyses conducted by DigiTrust, it was evident that we had already organized our security measures well. For instance, we had proper documentation, conducted code reviews, ensured facility security, and had a dedicated security team monitoring the security level. We have optimized many processes over the past years. Kiwis (Redkiwi employees) receive automated phishing emails to prevent infiltration by ransomware. These awareness training sessions are conducted continuously and without prior notice.
